Americans Rip Up Retirement PlansThe American workplace is about to get grayer. Nearly two-thirds of Americans between the ages of 45 and 60 say they plan to delay retirement, according to a report to be released Friday by the Conference Board. That was a steep jump from just two years earlier, when the group found that 42% of respondents expected to put off retirement.

Iceland Wins Case on 2008 Refusal to Cover Foreign DepositsIceland was found to have acted within its rights in its 2008 refusal to cover U.K. and Dutch depositors in a failed Icelandic bank, escaping damages as high as 20 percent of its economic output. The European Free Trade Association Court in Luxembourg today dismissed a case brought the EFTA Surveillance Authority, which claimed the island had breached European Economic Area law.
